Weddings at The Chequers

The Chequers at Burcot is ideal for the intimate wedding breakfast you will be planning, whether you want to hold it in our function room that holds twenty guests or hire the entire restaurant for up to sixty guests. If you require a larger event we can erect a marquee in the ample beer garden for up to 100 guests. The restaurant is set in a timber framed coaching inn and looks idilic with its oak beams, Inglenook fire place and thatched roof. Traditionally held to have been an Inn for at least four hundred years it may have even gone back as far as 1330.  We pride our selves on combining locally sourced English fayre, great presentation and a warm, welcoming atmosphere. .          We have produced a selection of wedding menus but also understand they you will have you own ideas whch we want to incorporate for your special day, so please make an appointment to meet with us and discuss how we can make your day perfect.
